Your responsibility is to be the primary Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer .This is a Product driven role.The successful applicant would specify electrical components to meet reliability, cost and timing targets in accordance with the company’s NPI process. It is also expected that you would be accountable for the design and approval of electrical harnesses and to also be responsible for compiling control algorithms. You must have a strong and extensive Engineering background and demonstrate a disciplined application of engineering principles and problem solving techniques.

You will determine and establish technical application specifications of subsystem components for internal customers. Perform tolerance analysis to consider variation in processes and impact to subsystem performance. Communicate with suppliers to understand capabilities and ensure cost effective solutions.Intelligently defines print tolerances and identifies key characteristic for robust design.

Electrical Mechatronic Product Engineer is responsible for the specification and application of mechatronics components, including blower motors, actuators, sensors andspeed controllers.
Review customer specifications and other applicable specifications to determine requirements and/or feasibility of product.
Responsible for the compiling of embedded software using Matlab Simulink code.
Development of control strategy

Participate in engineering design reviews as required.
Review and approve the harness drawings
Assist with the technical preparation of proposal documentation.
Interact with vendors and customers on engineering design issues.

Electrical,Mechatronic Product Engineer will have the ability to use Matlab Simulink and have experience with electrical measurements (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter & NI Labview)
Familiarity with data acquisition and data analysis
Understanding of designing electrical harnesses ideallyto automotive standards
Experience in Specifying Hardware and Software Requirements
Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Experience working with global manufacturing and engineering teams
Self-motivated and driven
Automotive experience would be preferred
Six sigma knowledge would be beneficial
