Commercial Analyst

Act as a liaison between operational staff/local management and the finance team
Proportion of time is allocated interacting with operational staff on machine floor understanding production process & providing associated analysis
Provide assistance in mill wide projects
Produce & distribute routine reports analysing Mill KPI�s
Produce analysis of the mill to assist in its continuous improvement
Produce budget costings & accompanying variance analysis
Produce monthly inventory reports
Provide cover within finance for general duties
Development role with opportunity to work towards accounting qualification

Reports to Finance Controller
Works collaboratively with all employees on site to ensure the finance department meets its targets.

Skills Required:

- Highly proficient in MS Excel, with problem solving skills.
- Team-minded, has professional interpersonal skills & pro-active and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Experienced in ERP systems .
- Comfortable working with managers and spending time high proportion of role with operational staff /management
- Language Ability: English, German language knowledge beneficial

- Experience of working within a finance department, 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Computer Skills: Microsoft tools, Internet software, E-mail, SAP
- Knowledge of the manufacturing environment
