SALES LEDGER/CREDIT CONTROL

Multinational Manufacturer

£18,500 - £23,000 depending on experience

··Dealing with all aspects of sales ledger including and Credit control processes.

·Generating and posting of invoices to the Sales Ledger.

·Daily customer payment allocation. ·Maintain accurate records to support cash allocation.

oAnalysis of debtors.· Raising and sending customer statements.

·Establish and maintain the relationship with key customers accounts payable teams.

·Weekly reviews with the Finance Manager / Chasing customers when balance is due.

·Maintain and keep sales ledgers and cashbooks up to date.

·Reconciling customers Self Bill accounts.

·Raising credit notes and in line with customer debit notes.

·Ensuring that the cash forecast spreadsheet is updated and reconciled on a daily basis.

·Entering sales invoices daily on the customer portals.

Other Duties SALES LEDGER/CREDIT CONTROL

·Bank Reconciliations.

·Expenses/Petty cash - control of sterling & foreign petty cash. Petty Cash – distribution and reconciliation.

·Control company credit cards in line with company policy

·Maintain the Fixed Asset register,· Vat Return,·Intrastat

·Weekly Wages,· Prepares and enters the weekly payroll journal

·Covering switchboard (taking messages and relaying them to relevant departments)

·Research best prices and place orders with suppliers within the Finance function.

·Postal duties/ filing

·Flexibility is required in terms of working hours as business demands can often change at the last minute. The role is generally business hours, however some additional or weekend work may be required.

Must have Sales ledger experience and Credit Control experience

AAT qualified, Must be computer literate

Exhibit and demonstrate excellent administrative skills

Proactive Approach / Ability to work to tight deadlines

Excellent strong attention to detail

Possess a confident telephone manner

Additional language though not essential - (i.e. French/Italian)

Hours of work 8.30am – 16.30pm Mon- Thurs, 8.00am – 14.15pm Fri Total hours = 36¼ hrs
