Oversee companies Quality Management System.

·Quality Manager will manage day to day quality issues and department operation.

·Ensuring site compliance to both site and group statutory regulatory requirements.

·Help define, interpret and facilitate the use of appropriate test standards and regulatory reqs that apply to a manufacturing facility.

·Support company continuous improvement plan and ensure QA procedures are managed and implemented across the company.

·Compile key performance indicators for quality and drive improvement programs to meet business expectations.

·Responsible for taking ownership and implementation of product and process audits.

·Identify, manage and perform ISO system audits.

·Quality Manager will drive compliance improvements which result from internal audits.

·Provide leadership to identify and drive closure of potential compliance gaps,

reviewing data and challenging performance trends or variances.

·Team and customer focused leading by example, and display excellent man management skills

to ensure department achieved 100% compliance both internally and externally.

·Quality Manager will provide QA guidance and support to the company management team

·Liaise, communicate and resolve with all customers, internal and external

in the event of quality issues.

·Liaise, communicate and resolve with suppliers in the event of Quality issues

·Review quality corrective actions using 8-D reports to establish final closure.

·Demonstrate expert knowledge & understanding of the application of audit principles,

concepts and practices related to quality regulated systems.

·Quality Manager will develop and implement quality management strategy and plans, including systems to support,

contribute and integrate within the organisations annual business plan and long term strategy.

·Control and renew all Certification and Validation of finished goods standards

·Manage department performance against agreed targets & budgets.

This is not an exhaustive list, as there will be other duties established in support of the companies’

commitment towards continuous improvement objectives.

Flexibility is required in terms of working hours as business demands can often change at the last minute.

The role is generally business hours, however some additional or weekend work may be required.

Responsibility for managing Quality Team - (Snr QA Officer/1 Qual Engineer/2 Quality Technicians & 2 QC Inspectors)

·Degree in an engineering/automotive discipline

·Experience of improving and maintaining quality management systems

·Excellent analytical skills

·ISO9001 Audit Qualification.·ISO1401 Environmental Experience

·Experience in managing quality projects

·5-10 years in management role.·Flexible approach to travel

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Aerospace, Electronics, Automotive manufacturing or Engineering backgrounds would be ideal for this role

36.25hrs per week. Mon-Thurs - 8.30-16.30pm,Fri 8.00am - 14.15pm

Travel to work from Pontypool, Cwmbran, Brecon, Tredegar, Newport, Merthyr
