You will manage the material requirements of multiple key projects. To plan and coordinate the management of materials, ensuring stock accuracy, customer on time supply, high quality and effective cost management. To ensure smooth flow of material, reviewing project schedules, project orders and to action material requirements. £26-30,000+Benefits

The role will involve working with project engineers based onsite and field based to ensure correct material availability and supply management. Ability to build effective customer relationships.
Qualifications/Training :
• Experience of working with Oracle and SAP would be a key requirement of this role.
• IT literate in all Microsoft packages is also a requirement.

• Adhere to Health and safety policies and procedures
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard at all times
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
• Coordinate the logistics process to ensure all activities for the projects are designated and achieved
• Manage the monthly process of project material v the FCS requirements an outworker inventory
• Materials selection, ensuring its received, located and issued in a timely manner
• Tracks controls and communicates project delivery status to internal and external stakeholders
• Administers and coordinates with Division Company in case of delivery issues
• Take ownership for stock accuracy, ensuring a comprehensive stock check is conducted regularly
• Close liaison with other departments and engineers to achieve expected project requirements
• Proactive problem solving – particularly for ‘out of stock’ substitutions and supply chain issues
• Ability to work under pressure within a small dynamic team, flexible working to meet project deadlines.
• Effective written (report writing) and verbal communication to update Senior Manager and Project Engineers
Additional Specifications / Comments:
• The successful candidate must be reliable, able to work without supervision and travel (sometimes at short notice) if required.
• There may be some heavy lifting involved and use of a pallet truck
• A CRB check maybe required.
