Reporting into the Management Accountant on a day to day basis, the successful candidate will be required to manage the purchase ledger process predominantly and assist with the sales ledger processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strong Accounts experience is essential
Key responsibilities include all aspects of Purchase Ledger, including:
• Invoice entry/processing
• Query handling
• Processing payments and dealing with bank reconciliation work
• Assisting the Credit Controller with the sales ledger, whilst covering expenses and accruals at month end
Key Competencies:

• Good understanding of the accounting process
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel to intermediate level
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Effective problem solving skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and times schedules
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail

It is desirable for the successful candidate to possess, or be working towards, a Finance related qualification. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have relevant work experience.
