Oracle Co ordinator


Salary: £25-30,000 + Dep on exp
Location: Cardiff

You will be responsible for the configuration of Oracle cloud software: Configure Price Quote software in line with the business requirements across Europe.
The position will report directly to the Team Leader and will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams throughout the organization delivering sales effectiveness and efficiencies in the Opportunity to Order process.
The role includes the day to day administration of the CPQ application, including adding and maintaining data, rules and dependencies, providing user training and user support. The candidate will have the ability to manage and maintain good relationships with all CPQ stakeholders across Europe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working closely with sales, marketing and planning teams to understand requirements and then identify and implement new features of Oracle CPQ to support and evolve the business.
• Set up and maintenance of SKUs, pricing and marketing information relating to products, services and accessories for the European market.
• Supporting the sales and management teams in implementing proofs-of-concepts relating to new and existing products.
• Being well-versed in the functionality and capabilities of the Oracle CPQ leading-edge web software technology as it is today and will be in the future and driving adoption of enhancements of the platform within the company• Keeping up to date with the latest upgrade and release functionality of Oracle CPQ.
• Being a project manager, facilitator, and implementer for Oracle CPQ product initiatives.
• Maintaining data integrity within the system and ensuring accurate pricing and model configurations.
• Working with Oracle Support and other 3rd parties to ensure the smooth running of the product software.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• At least four years general IT experience, with strong technical abilities and an interest in IT systems.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• High level of energy, persistence and a strong desire to see the project through to the end.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Quick learner and the ambition to advance career with a structured training programme.
• Knowledge of user interface design and web design constraints would be helpful.
• Experience of other Oracle Cloud applications would be an advantage.
• Willingness to attend Oracle product training.
• Knowledge of database administration and methodology would be desirable.
• Experience in a similar fast paced, target driven sales environment.
• Project management experience is essential.
