Role Purpose Electrical Maintenance Technician
• Carry out a key role within the engineering team by providing Electrical/ Instrument engineering support to ensure operational targets are met. Stable work record is essential
• Maintain and improve our plant and equipment in a Process Manufacture to achieve optimum levels of efficiency, output, quality and safety.
£29604-overtime is paid at the flat rate of £16.88 per hour.
 

Role Responsibilities Electrical Maintenance Technician
• Provide Electrical/Instrument cover to ensure production machinery/electrical equipment is monitored and maintained to ensure effective running outputs/target speeds
• First line mechanical breakdowns (out of hours)
• Complete fault finding on process equipment
• Implementation/use of predictive and preventative maintenance systems
• Implement/use of engineering audit systems
• Champion small installation projects/upgrades
• Participate in larger installation projects/upgrades
• Complete scheduled inspection/maintenance activities and ensure adequate information is recorded
• Participate in shift handover to ensure relevant information is clearly passed over to next Shift Technician
• Develop close working relations with Shift Team Leader and Production staff
• Undertake any necessary training and development
• Work in accordance with Company housekeeping standards
• Adhere to Quality and Safety Procedures
• Carry out any other reasonable request
Job Type: Electrical Maintenance Technician Full-time, 12 hour day & night shifts across 7 days
Required experience.
Strong experience of working in industry in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
• Qualified electrical engineer
• Experience of plc, ac/dc drive controls, & electrical maintenance
• Logical/Analytical
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Problem solver and innovator
• Resourceful & safety conscious
• Able to work unsupervised
• Able to manage time/prioritise workload
• Able to lead people and set direction
• Able to handle people issues
