Coordinate, organise and drive NPI projects forward to successful conclusion.
Co-ordinate and manage the various NPI/Production/ meetings weekly.
Review planned NPI dates with the team to ensure adherence to Customer implementation dates.
Manage Sub Teams with NPI review on topics such as PPAP, Drawing availability, Bills of Material in place, Work Instructions review.
Co-ordinate global NPI activities with Sears Davenport counterpart; and follow up with regular weekly meetings.
Create project plans/ tracking documents etc. /Focus on NPI delivery within given/fixed timescales and deadlines.
Ensure NPI projects remain on track and in line with business & customer expectation.
Coordinate all duties associated with NPI projects/including facilitation of project meetings and gateway reviews.
Plan, schedule and coordinate all activity within range of responsibility on any given NPI project.
Collate & maintain relevant information appertaining to the projects in an organised and efficient manner.
Liaise with the engineering/Sales/Purchasing/Finance/Operations/ Marketing to obtain updated information to populate and update control documents.
Liaise with technical groups and department heads to identify requirements to meet project needs.
Address & resolve project related issues. Communicate progress or issues of various projects to the various department heads and project team members.
Plan, schedule and coordinate all activity within range of responsibility on any given NPI project.
Adhere to agreed project planning protocol and principles Ė APQP.
Develop and maintain details of projects /completion of documents in accordance with ISO & SSOPís.
Ability to time line NPI introductions.
Communicate effectively with pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate organisational and people management competencies.
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, and various engineering software. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think on your feet.
Strong Project Management skills and Ability to time line NPI introductions.
Proficient Technical background experience with the Comprehensive understanding of engineering change release/BOMís/manufacturing process.
Excellent co-ordinator, assertive, forward thinking & organised with a pragmatic approach to problem solving, setting priorities to meet given project deadlines & possess people management competencies.
Experience in similar role, and flexible attitude towards work responsibilities
HNC in commercial or engineering field
PRINCE2 Project Management
4-5 years in similar role
Experience within the manufacturing/automotive industry
Travel to work from Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, Merthyr, Cwmbran, Brecon, Abergavenny
